Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Ticket Pilot helps you understand and respond to parking and traffic tickets. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We don’t sell your data.

What we collect

  • Account info — your name and email (or your Apple ID, via Sign in with Apple) so your tickets sync across devices.
  • Ticket photos & details — the photo you upload and the fields we read from it (citation number, city, violation, amount, dates, plate).
  • Usage — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

  • To extract your ticket’s details, suggest a next step, and draft a contest letter — using AI (Anthropic). Your ticket data is sent to that provider only to perform these tasks.
  • To show official city pay/contest links and nearby legal help (via Google Places) for the issuing city.
  • To keep your saved tickets, statuses, and reminders available on your account.

Where it’s stored

Account and ticket data are stored on managed infrastructure (Neon Postgres and Cloudflare). Ticket photos are stored privately and served only to you.

Sharing

We don’t sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app (AI processing, hosting, email delivery, mapping), and only as required to provide the feature you used.

Your choices

You can delete a ticket anytime in the app. To delete your account and associated data, email support@useticketpilot.com and we’ll remove it.

Not legal advice

Ticket Pilot provides informational assistance only and is not a law firm. Contest letters and suggestions are starting points, not legal advice.
