Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and TicketPilot, operated by Domfly LLC (“TicketPilot,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the TicketPilot app or website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
What TicketPilot is
TicketPilot is an informational, self-help tool. It reads a parking or traffic ticket and helps you decide whether to contest, pay, or seek legal help, and it can draft a contest letter for you to review and send. It can also refer you to a third-party attorney.
Not legal advice — no attorney-client relationship
TicketPilot is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship with TicketPilot. AI-generated letters, contestability scores, deadlines, and suggestions are starting points only and may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you submit it, for verifying the facts and any deadlines against your citation and the official court or agency, and for the decisions you make. We do not guarantee any outcome, including that a ticket will be dismissed or reduced. For anything serious — a criminal charge such as DUI, reckless driving, or a suspended license — consult a licensed attorney.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for use in the United States.
Your responsibilities & acceptable use
- Upload only tickets that are yours or that you’re authorized to handle.
- Provide accurate information, and review any document before you send or file it.
- Meet your own deadlines — the Service is not a substitute for tracking them yourself.
- Don’t misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Attorney referrals (advertising)
If you choose to be connected with an attorney, that connection is advertising. TicketPilot may be paid a fee for the referral. Any attorney you work with is independent and solely responsible for their own services; TicketPilot does not provide legal services and is not responsible for the advice or outcome any attorney provides.
Accounts & security
You’re responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Fees
The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we’ll disclose the price and terms before you’re charged.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by TicketPilot and its licensors. You keep ownership of the ticket content you upload, and you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information, AI output, or third-party link is accurate, current, or complete.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TicketPilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any fines, penalties, late fees, missed deadlines, lost data, or other losses arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TicketPilot and its officers, members, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; if we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive termination.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at the email below so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that isn’t resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
